This second release from 'Mankind' represents a collection of songs that were recorded over a 4 year period in the late 1990's while in a 'slow-mo' pursuit of that all elusive 'Big Record Deal'. Although that iron went cold, the band did have some interest from A&R reps at Atlantic Records in N.Y. as well as many favourable reviews of its debut recording and live shows in the national 'Rock Rags'. 4 years was a long time that saw many member changes and many inceptions of the cover bands that played to pay studio bills, rehearsal studio costs, agents, production fees,etc, some of which are still intact and playing today. Cheers to those who smoked, laughed, created, drank,laboured, drank some more, or just showed up.
